Psychological Consultation

Once referrals have been reviewed and accepted through our initial screening service, the next stage is the psychological consultation.

At Young Wellbeing Hub, we understand that making decisions about the appropriate support can feel overwhelming. That’s why we offer a psychological consultation with one of our experienced clinical team members, before you access any of our psychological or therapeutic service offerings.

The consultation is designed for individuals, parents/carers or families as a touch-point before you progress into one of our pathways. It aims to provide our clients with a tailored plan on what services will be most helpful for them.

What the consultation covers

During this consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Discuss your concerns and questions about the referral process or the individual’s needs.
Receive a clear explanation of the available services, including our diagnostic assessments, psychological assessments, and therapeutic support options.
Explore the pathways that are best suited to your situation, whether it’s diagnostic clarity, post-diagnostic support, or ongoing care.

Gain guidance on next steps, with the freedom to make informed decisions that align with your preferences.

At Young Wellbeing Hub, we value client choice. We believe that you should have control over the type of support you receive and the pace at which you move forward. Our clinical team is here to guide and inform, but ultimately, we empower you to choose the path that feels right for you or your loved one.

Pathway information

Who can benefit?

All clients who wish to use our psychological and therapeutic services must first access the psychological consultation to begin their journey. This means that the consultation is suitable for all individuals 5+, parents/carers and families who wish to access our service.
