At Young Wellbeing Hub we are aware that it can be difficult to establish which type of assessment is most appropriate to book in for, as young people can present with a variety of complex characteristics.



Whilst some of the characteristics of autism and ADHD can overlap, each have their own diagnostic criteria. We have created free autism and ADHD tests to support you in making your decision on whether seeking an assessment is appropriate for your family.

Young Wellbeing Hub was founded to provide high quality assessments and support to children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs, mental health needs, and cognitive and learning needs.

Our priority is to help families by enhancing the wellbeing of children, young people and their support networks. We place them at the centre of what we do and adopt an integrative approach to better understand their needs.

Young Wellbeing Hub Chief Executive Michael Wigington

Michael Wigington

Founding Director/CEO

Michael has been working consultatively with some of the leading NHS trusts and private services in the UK, helping them to attract the very best talent and reduce their waiting times considerably for the past 7 years.

At 15, growing up in Dagenham, Essex, Michael was forced to leave school before completing his GCSEs due to his own mental health challenges and is now passionate about helping young people have better access to mental health and education support.</p>

Michael founded the Young Wellbeing Hub, from his desire to provide children and young people with access to the very best clinicians within the UK, ensuring they are delivered the highest levels of care and service.

Harriet Whitaker

Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager, I oversee the daily operations to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery. My role involves coordinating with healthcare professionals, managing administrative tasks, implementing strategies to enhance client care and organisational performance and team leadership. I am dedicated to fostering a supportive environment that promotes mental health and wellbeing for all our clients.

Outside of work, I love being outdoors and in nature. I love walking, hiking and any form of physical activity and exercise. I love spending time with my friends and exploring new places. I enjoy meditation, mindfulness and listening to music!

Lindsey Patrick

Medical Secretary

I have over 2 years’ experience as a Medical Secretary and over 6 years’ experience in the Health and Care Industry. I am passionate about putting the Client first and making sure their experience is very positive, and their needs are met in a very professional and compassionate manner.

I am responsible for answering the telephone and replying to correspondence received by email from all Clients. I am the point of contact for the Clinicians, booking appointments and ensuring diaries are kept up to date. I support the Clinicians with their administration tasks checking and formatting letters and reports before sending out to Clients. I send prescriptions requests to the Clinicians to make sure all clients receive their medication promptly. I am knowledgeable on Shared Care Agreements sending to GP Surgeries once Clinicians have completed to ask for their acceptance of this. I also support and liaise with our finance team checking they have sent out invoices and payment requests.

Nicole Webb

Assistant Psychologist

I am an Assistant Psychologist at Young Wellbeing Hub working as part of the clinical team. I have been at Young Wellbeing Hub for over two and a half years, working in various roles. As an assistant psychologist, my role involves supporting the psychological clinical team deliver a needs-led service to our service users, championing a neuro-affirmative approach and supporting with assessments and therapeutic interventions.

Prior to Young Wellbeing Hub, I worked in both primary and secondary education settings, helping to support children and young people to thrive in education. I have seen first-hand the disconnect that can occur between education and health services, and the detrimental this can have on young people’s wellbeing, and therefore strive to help bridge the gap, and collaborate, for the benefit of the service users. Coming from a neurodivergent family, I am passionate about promoting neuro-affirming language and practice to ensure we are empowering individuals to embrace their neuro-type.

Meggi Sparkes

Head of Governance, Quality and Safeguarding

Meggi is Head of Governance, Quality and Safeguarding for Young Wellbeing Hub. She is the named person for CQC and Designated Safeguarding Lead and chairs the governance meetings.

Cait Bridgman

Clinical Operations Coordinator | Clinical Administrator

I have various roles within Young Wellbeing Hub, giving me a comprehensive understanding of our clinic from multiple lenses. My primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic and to generally support clients in their journey through our service. My operational responsibilities focus on improving clinical pathways and processes and implementing innovative strategies to enhance client care. Furthermore, my administrative responsibilities involve liaising with our clients and their support systems to ensure documentation and questionnaires are completed.


With a BSc in Psychology and over 2-years working in the private mental health sector, I have a keen understanding of neurodiversity and mental health, and advocate for a neuroaffirmative approach to support the neurodiverse community. I have experience supporting the Young Wellbeing Hub team in developing clinical content, and the subsequent delivery of this. Additionally, I have begun assisting the clinical team with our service offer; including co-delivery of psychological education and webinars.
